The idea for DNSCry.pt was born about two years ago, so it's time to celebrate its 2nd birthday, I guess.
The project has grown from a handful to over 100 resolvers worldwide over the last two years. It's been a great experience to get in touch with so many people who find the project useful, give feedback and make suggestions for new features. This growth wouldn't have been possible without the generosity of the sponsors of this project, of course.

To celebrate, I created a small CTF challenge and I am giving away two of these mugs*.
The challenge can be found at https://raffle.dnscry.pt/. To participate, send me your solution to mail+raffle@dnscry.pt. Winners will be chosen randomly on January 1st 2025. I'll contact the winners via email. Legal recourse is excluded. Please don't disclose the solution publicly.
Good luck!
(* To avoid customs issues and to keep shipping costs within a reasonable limit, I'll ship these to EU countries only!)
I had to remove the resolver in Mauritius due to ongoing IPv6 issues the provider is unable to resolve permanently. I'm currently looking for a replacement. If you know a provider who could fit, please let me know!
Not as cool as Mauritius, but we have new resolvers in Canada (Calgary, Halifax), Manchester, Houston and Grand Rapids.
Note that the IP addresses of the resolvers in Vancouver and Helsinki have changed!
A second resolver in Stockholm has just gone live. It is generously provided by Skhron.
The IPv4 address of dus02 has been changed to avoid the issue with the DDoS protection filtering DNSCrypt traffic.
