Using DNS-over-HTTPS Resolvers on Windows
Here's how you can use the native DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) feature in Windows 11:
Step 1: Open Network Settings
- Press
Win + I
to open the Settings app. - Go to Network & internet.
Step 2: Configure DNS Settings
- Select Wi-Fi or Ethernet, depending on your connection type.
- Click on Hardware properties.
- Under DNS server assignment, click the Edit button.
Step 3: Set Up DNS-over-HTTPS
- In the Edit DNS settings window, select Manual.
- Toggle IPv4 or IPv6 depending on your network configuration.
- Enter the DNS server addresses you'd like to use. You can find them on our Public Resolvers page.
- For each DNS server, select Encrypted only (DNS over HTTPS) from the dropdown menu.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
